Grafted-Wax Introduction

Maleic anhydride grafted wax combines the processing characteristics of polyolefin waxes with enhanced interfacial functionality. The grafted structure improves affinity toward polar pigments, fillers, fibers and polymers, supporting better dispersion, compatibility, coupling and adhesion.

Functionalized Polyolefin Structure

Maleic anhydride grafting introduces polar functionality into a polyolefin wax while retaining its characteristic melt flow and processing behavior. This combination enables the wax to interact more effectively with materials of different polarity.
Special Pigment Dispersion

Enhanced interfacial affinity promotes pigment wetting and more uniform dispersion, particularly in demanding systems such as pearlescent and fluorescent colorants where dispersion quality and optical appearance are both important.
Filler & Fiber Coupling

Grafted wax improves the wetting and interfacial bonding of mineral fillers, glass fibers, wood flour and other reinforcing materials, supporting more uniform dispersion and stronger interaction with the polymer matrix.
Compatibility & Adhesion

Lubrication & Processing

The wax-like structure also provides lubrication, flow modification and release, allowing interfacial improvement to be combined with smoother processing and more stable melt behavior.
